Yaira Resto is a multidisciplinary artist specializing in digital art, from expressive sketches to highly detailed, realistic paintings. With experience in illustration, graphic design, and photography, her work is deeply influenced by surrealism and inspired by the boundless worlds of fantasy and science fiction.

Her artistic journey began early, selling artwork as a middle schooler and later formalizing her craft with a BFA from the School of Fine Arts in Puerto Rico. This foundation led to a diverse career as a multimedia illustrator in the US Army, a multimedia specialist as a contractor for the US Air Force, and, since 2011, a Visual Information Specialist for the federal government. Alongside her career, she has taken on various freelance projects, including murals, sculptures, VR world-building, and photo restoration.

For Yaira, art is more than just a product—it is a visual representation of the artist’s mind and spirit, a bridge between human experiences and aspirations. Each piece tells a story, inviting viewers to connect, explore, and experience imagination beyond the ordinary.
Yaira was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and resides in the Washington, DC area.
